I made the absolute best homemade bread earlier today! It’s super healthy seeded rye sourdough bread. It’s adapted from a Paul Hollywood recipe and involves making a sourdough starter (which is surprisingly easy!) and you can keep it in the fridge for ages which means that making this bread the second time is even quicker. You can start making it in advance, so it’s easy to fit it into your timetable whenever you have spare time. I’ve attached images and the ingredient list. Ingredients:
For the starter:
175g wholemeal flour
200ml maple syrup
110ml warm water
1 teaspoon instant yeast
For the dough:
330g wholemeal/rye flour
100g strong white bread flour
10g salt
1 tablespoon honey
375-400ml warm wayer
70g pumpkin seeds
50g linseeds
Oil, for greasing
